Sam's Rosary

My nephew Sam, is celebrating First Communion Saturday April 25th ... as his God-Mother (and bead junkie) I created my first rosary. It was very educational for me, and I think it turned out very nice.  

There just might be  a market for these .... let me know! 

This would be $35- 40 upgrading the metal components would change the price.

This weekend was busy ... I was able to complete an order for my sisters' sister in law. The goal was to be able to send them to St. Louis for Thanksgiving. For this order, I was given brief descriptions of the ladies that would receive the items ... and then create pieces that would be appropriate for each person. This was a fun order to work on, lots of variation.

Repeat costumer order, this same fellow ordered mother jewelry last spring, below somewhere is a post with pearls and purple squares. I went for something a bit more edgy ... hope they like it! The new family addition was in October, notice the pink. earrings: $10 bracelet: $15 necklace: $30

Holidays

The holidays are just around the corner ... If you would like to discuss some ideas for gifts NOW is the time. I plan to have an open house after thanksgiving, but I am not going to be able to attend the NCAA staff sale this year. I hope to return next year. Summer and beyond

Well is is summer and many of my plans have changed ... the beading has been put hold as I must pack up my workplace and move into a space to be shared with my husbands office (still in the house) But not an area that I can keep my work space set up as it has been for the past year. We will be shifting the use of the "BeadRoom" into the "BabyRoom". That is correct .... My Husband and I are expecting our First child January 4th, 2009. As of today we are 12 weeks ... We have just recently decided to find out the sex of the baby (we both think boy) but will not know for a few more months. The first Tri-mester went pretty smooth - lost of sleeping and just a little bit of nausea. The worst of which came once school got out ( I do love summer break!) Volleyball is going well, we are in our 4th week of summer workouts and have the IHSAA moratorium the first week of July. My Husband and I may take off - but not 100% yet - we may use the time to clear out the bead room. Then we will have 3 more weeks of summer volleyball, including Team Camp at Purdue University (we will take 27 players) IHSAA official fall start date Aug 4th, school starts Aug 11 ... the fall will be busy, the State Finals are the frist weekend in November - then I can really plan for the baby!
